The first cooling pad I received was damaged, probably because it came in the original packaging without additional protective packaging. However, the damaged product was quickly replaced, so everything is fine. I like that it has six fans which are very quiet. Not only are there seven color styles to choose from; I love RGB; However, you can turn off the light by pressing and holding the light button for a few seconds. I think the only way to improve on this element is with baffles to keep the computer in place when the stand is up. The two small ledges don't seem very secure, one of mine actually falls off fairly easily. This makes me tilt my laptop a bit suspiciously.
