I apply the prescription gel to my wrist four times a day. However, the instruction warns against washing your hands after use so that the medicine does not remain on the skin where it is not needed. It was a hassle waiting for the gel to dry then washing my hands and then applying hand lotion every few hours. So I was looking for a way to only apply the gel where it's needed without having to apply it to the other side. These ball bottles work great. I squeeze the gel from the tube into two bottles. one for home and one for the office. Since the gel is thicker than deodorant, I keep it upside down in a small jar so the product can be applied with light pressure before removing the lid. Never expire.
