Bought I usually wear a 5.5 but bought 6 so had to fit with no issues. I have to wear these sandals because others make me fall. Well I couldn't even get it on my leg. No kidding, my foot doesn't go over my toes. It made me think my feet were getting worse and I was doomed to wear sneakers forever. However, my old sandals fit in perfectly. I had my niece who is a smaller size than me, she is an 11 year old child, very skinny, and even her legs don't fit. Same problem. And her legs are much narrower than mine. It's possible that the single pair is in error as I see other commenters aren't having the same issue. So I don't know what's going on.
