Looks cool but that's where the fun ends

I bought these pedals because they "looked" very solid. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to install it before my return deadline. After I installed them they only lasted about 100 miles if that's the case before they started clicking. After replacing the bottom bracket I thought the noise was coming from a worn bottom bracket because it was very old and I was wondering how the noise could be coming from brand new pedals? So I took my bike to the local bike shop and explained my problem. He put his "shop test pedals" on my bike and rode it. Then he came back and told me to ride it. Imagine no more clicks. I was angry to say the least. Then the bike shop owner showed me how they "look" like very strong pedals, but clearly weren't. I strongly advise against these pedals. A very annoying clicking noise started 100 miles ago and got worse with every ride. Of course, that was AFTER my return, so I now have a very unique paper scale. Lesson learned!
