Looking for a Golf GPS? At first I thought I would not like this product. After using the range finder, I didn't think I would enjoy wearing it on my wrist. I was positively surprised. This product is very light. Even on your wrist you hardly remember it. The screen is amazing, you can see clearly in bright sunlight and on a full color screen with a well defined playing field. It shows your position in yards. You can select it to show you games like distance as well as standard yards for tournament games. The screen is not very high resolution, but more than suitable for a golf watch. The price is high, but it's an investment that won't disappoint. Switching between the new version for 2019 Approach S40 was a breeze. For me, $50 is more, the specs are better, and the on-screen graphics for each hole are way better. That shows you the whole hole whereas the S40 only shows graphics with different colored lines and looks very cheap in my opinion. Shot tracking is amazing. That's really what sold me about this device. It's great to drop by after a round and see what shots you've taken and from where. You can also view club distance information in the Garmin Golf app summary. You can also download courses. So if you don't have internet you can still run the golf GPS on your watch. There are so many features, this thing is amazing.
