I wanted a keyboard for my iPad mini and was willing to pay $70 for it. But then I discovered that there are much cheaper alternatives. I am very happy with this keyboard/case. First, I love the color. I have the one in pink. The body is pink and the keyboard is white, which goes well with my white mini. Much better than the more expensive black. Second, I find it more than adequately protects my Mini from falls. The hard case is quite light. I can comfortably hold it in one hand while reading, and it folds almost flat on the keyboard so it's not uncomfortable to hold. The keys are small (obviously), but I can still type on them. I think it's best to have it on the table when typing, but I usually manage it on my knees. My only complaint is the placement of the apostrophe. You have to hold down the fin button while you press it. Given that the apostrophe is used a lot, you would think they would put it where they have the colon/semicolon key. I've found that the only reason I avoid using shortcuts is because it's impractical to raise my hands to find both keys. Otherwise I am very satisfied with this purchase, especially with the purchase price.
