Great set! The price I paid at $175 couldn't be beat for the great quality of this set. I originally wanted a 12 piece set as featured in Bed Bath and Beyond, but how could I turn down this offer for HALF the price?! The pans look very nice out of the box. Holding one in my hand, it reminded me of my mom's old Rena Ware utensils - she's had them since she got married 30 years ago and they're still great for cooking. The weight of these pans is evenly distributed and there is no extra "floor" on the pots/pans to distribute the weight/heat like I've seen on many cookware sets at Sam's Club, Costco and department stores like JCPenney, Sears . , Kohls and Macy's (e.g. Wolfgang Puck, Kitchen Aid, Cuisinart, Kirkland Signature, JCP Cooks etc.) I'm used to cooking in stainless steel pans so I have no problem with food sticking/burning in them. They heat up well, so I'd say be careful not to get the pan too hot or it will stick, and be sure to use that oil and/or oil - not much, just enough. I am very happy with my new set. I know from the look and feel - oh, and I've used them quite a bit since I bought them - that they're going to last. In my opinion, this set is not only a quality purchase, but also a good investment. I see no need to replace them for many years - hopefully until my mother's Rena Ware!
