I am very picky when it comes to jugs and containers for juice or coolant. I'm in love with this container because it's made of glass and thinner than any other pitcher I've seen before. I've tried many other options but can't stand it when the drink tastes like plastic. I've had so many drinks because I always thought everything was fine, but then I pour a glass and drink it and all I can smell is plastic or whatever was in the container before. I guess it's partly mental because I'm crazy, but none of that happens with glass containers. Glass doesn't retain flavor from other drinks I've had. I was also a bit worried it would be heavy as it's glass, but even with a full jug it's no heavier than a regular plastic container filled with liquid. The last thing I like is that it's see-through so I can always see how much is in the container and if it's gone bad or just needs more. This is a good quality compact pitcher that is great for any drink.
