Revainrating 5 out of 5

A nice option for the money, one of the best deals.

I was hesitant to make the purchase since I had read numerous negative reviews of the laptop online (continuous kernel panic, noises within the case, the low-frequency screen is poorly perceived by the eyes, etc.). I can attest that everything is as it should be: the sound is clear and undistorted; the screen refresh rate of all Macbooks with a retina display has always been 60 GHz; if there were no complaints with the previous refresh rate, there won't be with this one; and so on. Macbooks don't become very hot (the cooling system is the most efficient among all Macbooks at the time of its debut), and the color depth of the screen is extremely cool. I was startled, but my Macbook never produced noise, although I like to load it. Taking this laptop is a good idea because the next generation of MacBooks will have an Apple processor. These are the reasons why: The new Apple processor will cause all previously released Mac programs to stop functioning, and it will take some time for these programs to begin functioning on the new processor while their developers port the application to the new processor. This means that you may have to wait until the next generation of Macbooks is released, and then wait an additional two years while developers port applications. PS I followed the advise of certain American message boards and went with a silver model powered by an Intel Core i7 processor; according to the numbers, this combination results in the fewest marriages. Macbooks with space colors are more likely to be returned under warranty, as evidenced by data. Apparently (according to the reviews), the color space is more susceptible to scratches and rubbing off over time than silver.

Pros
  • Screen size, portability, power, audio quality, and thermal management
Cons
  • I have no complaints at this time.
