The 200 mile range is an exaggeration. Actual range in my situation is 65 miles. I have 3 markets. One is to the north which is 60 miles away. The station comes in most cases. Turns off at night during power outages and inclement weather, Second 65 miles to ESE. These stations are constantly interrupted. The third is 45 miles to the southeast. These stations are always good. When I first scanned it, it picked up ALL channels available, even the weakest. It was wonderful. He did not hit the station at a distance of 72 miles. The stations I watch the most are of course on the 65 Mile Tower. Annoying that they are not always available or are cut right at the end of the show. I'll stick with it for now, but I'll probably use a directional antenna again. Updated 09/09/20 Lately the weather has been changeable, I could not get anything in stormy weather. In light rain and drizzle I was only able to get to the 45 mile stations and they broke. I would not recommend this antenna for general service.
