I was just putting my Surface Pro in this case and the next day we suddenly had a heavy downpour. I didn't have an umbrella or jacket with me, so I had to walk from the parking lot to class in a t-shirt and shorts, and when I got to the building I was soaked to the skin, but my bag wasn't soaked and everything was dry inside. I usually go to class just holding it, I'm so glad I bought this bag. The material on the outside is very durable and the water just drains off. I also love that it stands up when you put it down, unlike other bags that tip over on its side. I also like the soft lining and the dividers, it has a separate compartment for the tablet and other compartments for charging cables, keys, wallet so as not to scratch the tablet. There is also a zippered pocket on the outside for USB sticks, batteries, money and other small items. This bag is made so that I can carry everything in one bag. Great bag, great price, I just love it! Oh, and I love that it came in a color choice. I bought one of each color! Thanks very much!
