The Ergotron LX wall mount has the level of fit and finish you would expect from a much more expensive product. I have a significant design issue in my application: I needed to mount the monitor at eye level using an LX mount over an existing monitor. The LX arm allows a wide range of motion, with the exception of tilting the monitor bezel down (maximum minus 5 degrees according to the product specification). The monitor I use has a drastic drop in brightness when viewed from a low angle and is nearly unusable with the limited tilt of the LX mount. I solved my problem by buying some longer screws to attach the LCD to the top of the LX mounting plate with rubber grommets between the bracket and the LCD. This adds a little more negative tilt to the front of the LCD, but is a treasure trove of sleek hardware. The tilt limit is particularly annoying as the tilt in the opposite direction is +80 degrees from vertical when looking up. Detailed dimensional drawings to help you determine if the LX mount is right for your application are available on the Ergotron website: [ .]
