I placed the Blue Yeti on this stand, I needed something more compact than the wall mount I was using. It's more compact and attaches securely to my desk. However, positioning the microphone was actually very difficult given the way the screw mount connects. It's impossible to screw it securely into the mount while still controlling the angle at which the mic is pointed. That's the first issue, the second is that while the mic stand is solid, it's actually not that easy to move and position the device. If you're going to say change the angle 30 degrees, you'll most likely change it to 25 or 35, there are certain positions he just doesn't want to lean into. For the price, this stand gets the job done, but I reverted to my bulkier swing arm solution because it just didn't give the ease I was expecting.
