Review on 🍵 DuraCopper Callisto Tea Kettle: Premium 3.1 Qt. / 3.0 L. Old Dutch Elegance by Danielle Rodriguez

This teapot is the best I've ever had! Not only beautiful design, but also holds a large volume of water if required and heats 6-8 cups of water in 3 minutes on our induction stove. The handle and retractable spout stay completely cool and the whistle works great. Easy to clean! Simply wipe with a damp microfiber cloth. We use 1-2 times a day for a month until it fades. I love it! I add an addendum to my review. After running this kettle flawlessly for 2 1/2 years we noticed a black residue with a strong chemical odor coming from the base. I think the glue on the copper base is corroded somehow. I ordered a new kettle because I like it, but I don't understand what's going on! I will throw away the old one. I can't explain it, but it's bad! The inside is still perfect - stainless steel and looks great, but I'm not comfortable with an old pan anymore!
