You can probably change the boot order in your PC's BIOS, but it's easier and safer with this hard drive switch. I don't want one operating system to see the other operating system, and this switch allows me to "unmount" one or more drives. This prevents the boot manager of one operating system from being damaged by another. The build quality is very good and the price is very reasonable.
