Review on 🤍 V Élan Vintage Leather Protector by Chris Elam

I've been using a leather business card case as a minimalist wallet for over 15 years. A wallet in all this time, but it ended up fraying at the seams. When I wanted to replace it I would have been in jeopardy had a fine Italian leather company not discontinued it and offered something similar as a possible replacement. Wallets have become a common birthday or Christmas present as my wife has now told grown children how bad my wallet looks. I tried everything I was given, but none of them could compare to the beautiful Italian leather card holder that has been my minimalist wallet for so long. When the old lady started incurring an irreparable tear, I intensified my search for a leather card case with an expandable slot on one side. It was the expandable side pocket that set the Dilana thin leather business card case apart from all the others. Oops, I was referring to the fine Italian leather company. But miracles HAPPEN because I found another quality leather cardholder that I will use as a minimalist wallet for years to come. The only thing I can find is the name engraved on each card holder/wallet. The V-elan wallet features RFID skimming blocking cards to avoid the perceived risk of identity theft from RFID skimming pockets, but you can barely tell there's a blocking card on each side of the wallet. RFID skimming is actually more of a European problem as only a tiny percentage of US companies use RFID in their credit cards and the 2nd generation RFIDs are now encrypted so the hopeful identity thieves are SOLs. And that's a shit on the case. With or without blocking of RFID cards, I am glad to have seen this product minimalistic in my life.
