UPDATE: In less than two months of light home office use the printer gave me a low toner warning and at the same time the toner had run out that day. If you buy this printer, which I do not recommend, make sure you have a supply of toner. I have had this printer for several months now. Setting up the wireless network was very easy (connect via USB first, then via Wi-Fi). The print speed is slower than my old Dell printer, but I like duplex printing. The manual feed does not work well and jams envelopes and labels almost every time. (Now I put labels in the input tray instead.) The main downside is the scanner - I wouldn't recommend it for photos or business cards. Approximately 1/8 inch of edge is lost when scanning, both top and side, even though the business card or photo is aligned with the corner mark. I emailed Brother about this and they said it was correct - you can't scan the edge of a photo without shifting it down about 1/8 inch. Since I really can't return the printer, I need to create my own raised stencil to align photos or business cards. I wouldn't recommend it as a scanner unless you're scanning documents. The quality of the scanned image is good as long as you don't mind losing an edge or using the plastic guides to straighten the photo.
