We just moved into a 1952 house. It had been renovated but still had the slightly musty smell of the old house. It still has original wooden cabinets that smell especially of mold. In addition, the house was not occupied for two months before we bought it. Tried a few drying towels but it smelled like I was trying to cover the muff with perfume. Yesterday afternoon I received four packs of these sachets. I put one in our bedroom, on the windowsill; one in our bathroom, on top of the first aid kit (I know they need to be placed low but there is no other place to put them); one in the bathroom closet with our linens and towels; and one in the spare bedroom closet with original wooden shelves. Today the musty smell has almost disappeared in all four places. The study and the bedroom pantry were particularly musty as neither were opened very often. They all smell much better. Will buy four more for musty kitchen cabinets. Highly recommended!
