SUPER COOL KITTEN TOY

Oh my god! What a super cool toy. My two snobbish kittens are madly in love with him. My youngest is constantly giving him light taps to get him moving. My eldest (the youngest's mother) somehow stands a little apart and watches. This is normal behavior for them, much like an overprotective mother taking care of her cub. Even so, it's nearly impossible to find a toy that will catch the attention of BOTH these kittens. But this toy did it. That caught their attention and now they're kind of glued to the game. Reading the other reviews I figured it wouldn't work very well. Certainly not on carpet. What about a hard floor in the kitchen? Perfect. It does everything exactly as advertised. And it's not too big. In fact, it's about the size of a large mouse or a small rat. So it's not too big, which might scare my kittens. This size is perfect. The only complaint I have relates to something that can't really be fixed: the batteries and the battery compartment. Batteries are two small batteries. And on the screwed plate to get to the case there is a screw so tiny I almost couldn't unscrew it. I didn't really have to do this as the toy comes with two batteries. But I think I'd better test that to see if it's possible if those two batteries die at some point. But as I said, there really is no other alternative. Maybe a rechargeable system? Too expensive and not reliable. As it should be, it must be done until technology advances to better smaller batteries. My two kittens, on the other hand, didn't care. They're having way too much fun with this thing - and that's really all that matters.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Dodgy purchase for seniors
