I have had a set of these shovels for several years and I am still amazed at how beautiful they are every time I pull them out of my kitchen utensil drawer. I've always annoyed a set of spoons held together by a ring, but when the ring is removed they can spill over the box. The magnetic holder is the perfect solution: the set stays together in the drawer, but the spoons can be easily pulled apart and used individually. I bought several sets to give to my sisters and sisters in law and they love them too. Now I buy kits for developing chefs in the younger generation. As well as great magnets, each spoon has a round indentation for liquids on one end and an oval indentation on the other end that fits easily in a spice jar. In addition, both ends have a small flattening at the bottom of the trough, so that a full spoon can be placed on the counter without spilling _ awesome!
