Fun but not as intended

I ordered My First Game: Tail Trails for my almost 2 year old grandson. He likes simple hide and seek games and he loves cats so I thought this would be a hit. Mmm, not exactly how the game intended! At the simplest level of the game, a player hides 3 cats (beautiful, big and strong) with their tails open so that little ones can easily find them. The game progresses to higher levels with colored cards and a dice box (unfortunately not so solid). I thought maybe my grandson and granddaughter (almost 5 years old) could play together with a little help. My grandson just loved playing with cats! He had an idea to hide her, but then HE wanted to find her himself. I think maybe he's not quite ready for this game. I'll just let him play with the cats and try again in a few months with the real game. Of course it looks like it will be fun!
