Living in western Michigan we get a lot of snow that salts the car. I can honestly say that since I installed them on my truck, no snow or anything else got on the truck behind the wheels. When it hits a truck it's so minimal that I can't see it. I bought big kits (11") for this. I wish I had this 10 years ago made and would definitely consider doing it with any car I own in Michigan.Only downside is you have to remove the wheels to install. It wasn't a deal breaker for me but it might be for some people.
