I didn't have any stripes. Cleans glass really well. There are small things - it won't reach the corners, so the dirty glass will be an inch. I had a small problem with my window - there is a thin plastic strip around the glass so the robot gets stuck there. I tried to get it out of the stuck spot with the remote - it lost suction and fell off. To be honest I don't think any other design would have performed better in these conditions. Therefore I would give 5 stars.
