- Chose between 6800 XT and 3080 12 Gb. The card from NVIDIA was much more expensive, so I settled on an offer from AMD. - The card is heavy, I had to collectively farm the stand for it a little. After installing it in the slot and turning on the Windows PC, I pulled up the driver, I erased it via DDU, after downloading the latest version from off. site and turning off the Internet (so that Windows does not re-install the driver from its libraries). - The AMD driver may conflict with third-party software to monitor/manage the card. Just in case, after downloading the RGB Fusion utility and turning off the backlight, I deleted it. - The buggy driver did not bypass me. After a few days from the moment of installation, I caught a black screen while working in the browser. It happens like this - the screen just goes blank, the music is playing, there is no reaction to the keyboard / mouse. It's useful to look for a solution to the problem on the Overclockers forum. It turned out to be quite a common occurrence, and following the advice, I did the following: 1. Disabled fast boot in UEFI and Windows. 2. Disabled the HDCP parameter in Adrenalin. 3. Disabled the MPO parameter through the registry. 4. Disabled hardware acceleration (AU) in the browser. After a week and a half, everything is fine. - The temperatures initially seemed high to me. In the AIDA stress test, the hotspot warmed up to 101 degrees. I studied the topic of downvolting and chose the optimal parameters for myself: frequency - 2300 MHz, voltage - 1050 mV, memory frequency - 2120 MHz. In the AIDA stress test, the hotspot now heats up to 90-91. In games, for example, Forza Horizon 5, hotspot 80-85, GP ~ 70. Eats up to 200 watts. You can save your map settings to a separate file - in case of a reset to default values upon failure, it is easy to restore your settings. - Noise. It's there, but it's not critical. In idle time, ~ 50 degrees and I plan to install two more low-speed fans from below in the case for additional airflow. The first days the throttles squeaked, then either the squeak disappeared, or I got used to it. In any case, there is no discomfort. : returned the default memory frequency.
