Review on GOODTS Recorder Dashboard Recording Detection by Vincent Pavelko

For a $25 camera - excellent. I'm not complaining since it's only $25, but if I needed to list complaints or things that others need to know, here it goes. 1. - There is a cigarette plug on the camera cable, NOT USB. Might be a problem for those thinking of using their already dual USB plug to connect the camera - that won't work, the camera cable takes ONE full cigarette plug to power it 2 - the camera has a zoom function - I didn't know that! The camera actually zooms out a lot further than I need in standard mode, so I zoom in 3x when traveling. Of course, this adds a bit of distortion, but nothing to worry about. However, after turning off the car, the camera reverts to its original settings, which means I have to zoom the camera to 3x every time I get in the car. The camera will NOT read the license plate - even if there's a stopped car in front of you, unless you zoom in - so I like to keep it at 3x zoom. --- Hey this is a $25 camera I can't go wrong so I bought 3 more! and it comes with not one but TWO mounts, yes, TWO! And a suction cup and a permanent and a 16GB card. You can't go wrong here folks!
