Review on Walker Ultra EPA 16564 Direct Fit Catalytic Converter for Exhaust System by Len Cooper

The unit I received looked well built but was so misaligned that it was completely unusable. If you mount it on a perfectly flat surface, the two sides that attach to the engine block must be perfectly flat on that surface, as both exhausts on a Subaru engine are in the same plane. It had a 1/4 inch gap! (see photo). I saw another review where someone had to grind theirs a bit to fix this kind of issue, but this one was too distorted to even try. Is that something to test before it leaves the factory?! I already removed my old one before I discovered the problem, so a lot of work wasted. I had to reset the old one and send this one back.
