These are definitely not compression shorts, they have very little support. The material looks very cheap and contains no "wiggle" and does not support the buttocks. I bought these primarily for running - I'm fit and very muscular from weightlifting and have a big butt. So if I'm not wearing compression shorts while running, it really hurts (similar to running without a sports bra). I am very disappointed as I have relied on Under Armor shorts for a long time and have worn all my old ones to death. I don't know what happened to Under Armor, the quality has definitely deteriorated to such an extent over the years that I now have to try another brand.
