Overall, the case itself is very solid. I also really like the place for the pencil, so that it is always next to my iPad. The only major downside to this case, which I've been using for a few weeks, is the keyboard. I used to have an Apple keyboard but didn't want to pay the retail price to have it replaced when it broke. Compared to the Apple keyboard, you have to press the keys at the right angle on this keyboard for them to register, which can make typing difficult. Another problem is that you have to charge the case separately. Sometimes the Bluetooth connection can also be finicky. For those who use their iPad as their primary note-taking/writing device, I would consider investing in a keyboard comparable to Apple's. It costs money.
