I see no studies on the effectiveness of these Outus stickers, no information on their activity in UV light, no guidance on how to apply them most effectively, nor testing their effectiveness. I have read, purchased and researched both these Outus stickers and WindowAlert stickers and have learned the following: 1) Scientific studies have shown the effectiveness of WindowAlert stickers; 2) The WindowAlert decal installation instructions describe the most effective way of applying them: ie on the outside of windows, relatively close together; 3) WindowAlert's sticker testing instructions describe how to test (using a black light) that the stickers are still active under UV light; 4) WindowAlert offers an optional "UV Liquid" product that can be placed between the decals to improve bird protection. In short, the print on these Outus stickers appears as a matrix of small white dots that are no more active under UV light than other partially white surfaces and do not fluoresce under UV light. These Outus stickers lack effective installation and testing instructions, and there doesn't appear to be any specific scientific research behind them. Yes, they are cheaper; but no, they are not good value for money.
