Why are some ceiling fans $99 and others $600? QUALITY! Fit n The processing of the materials is excellent! The brushed nickel is beautiful and the walnut blades are uniquely shaped. Silence is really appreciated. I think the shape of the blades contributes to the noiselessness. The record is impressive. but I might be lucky, but I doubt it. it's all part of the Quality Score. properly weighting and balancing all parts to avoid wobbling. The installation is typical for ceiling fans. The installation instructions were as beautiful as I have ever seen, in large print, thick cardboard and well illustrated. Parts are in clearly identifiable packaging. well done. Even for a beginner, the installation should go smoothly. I was interested to read the installation requirements of 7 feet off the floor and 36 inches from each wall. The kit includes 5" and 12" wands and of course you can buy wands in different sizes. Same goes for corner settings. The wall switch has 4 dedicated speed buttons. This is a really nice feature as you can set it to the position you want without having to guess what speed the fan is running at. A backlight would be nice but not essential with dedicated speed buttons. The wall switch uses a battery. This is to control the light. This has never happened before. The lowest speed moves a lot of air. This fan moves a lot of air 3 blades. is the reason. Of course, as already mentioned, the remote control is not located next to the fan. Can't fault it because this fan looks sooooo elegant. Difficult to describe. a touch of high end spaceship and old world wood/metal. Of course, if you need a remote control, you can purchase it separately. My guess is that the manufacturer assumed that everyone has different tastes when it comes to remote controls, so you can choose the type you want. I'll try. Add remote control later. I have installed many ceiling fans and this is by far the nicest fan I have ever installed. Hence 5 stars from me.
