Very decent quality spotting scope at the price of a lesser quality spotting scope. It produces a sharp, clear image at 20x and a very usable image at 60x - a point where other scopes in this price range can't seem to deliver. It's image quality at higher magnifications is on par with scopes that cost three times as much. In the photos I've attached, the tree in the distance is exactly 236 meters tall. At 20x magnification, dead branches are clearly visible. At 60x magnification a robin can be seen perched on a branch. This scope allows you to see a 5 inch bird up close from over 700 feet away. Look at the photos. The scope looks well built and the focus knob has plenty of travel, making it easy to fine-tune your focus. The rubber caps that protect the optics fit perfectly. The sun visor at the end of the lens is adjustable to reduce glare. A cellphone adapter that fits the eyepiece allows you to attach your cellphone to the scope so you can take photos through the eyepiece. This is how the bird photos were taken in my example photos. This is a great way to get photos through the eyepiece that would otherwise be impossible as camera lenses just can't do it. such an increase. I can't wait for the next full moon. Subject matching that is frustrating when trying to find a subject even at 20x magnification. Most people who own these spotting scopes end up using them on a large, sturdy tripod for photography or videography, and that's what I use, although you can use the included tripod on the hood of a car, on a table, or other surface CAN use . This allows you to use the scope close enough to your eye level. Do yourself a favor and take the money you saved buying this scope and spend it on a decent tripod. 5 stars for price and picture quality, 4 stars for the included nylon sheath which could use some more padding on the bottom to protect the bullet. Or change the design to a soft case-style hard case, which would be even better. Overall 5 stars. Buy this scope.
