Great product. It appears to be well built and finished. Worked great for my repair. But Apple tries to make its products easier to replace than repair. Once upon a time I was constantly fixing broken screens, cameras, and home buttons. It's not just about hacking the case and exchanging the solution. To get to the charging port cable, you have to disassemble everything except the battery. This means breaking open the case, removing about 50 tiny screws, and bending back the ribbon cable glued to the case. You have to remove many components, remove tiny ribbon cable clamps and finally, when you get to the right place, you have to micro-weld to remove and replace this part. It should fit perfectly, and there are dozens of points. It's not easy, when you're done you'll curse, you'll probably need to digest a few times and you might not even get there, it's very fragile. If you try to fix it, good luck. It works, but it's no fun.
