
They work great. The range appears to be logarithmic (as opposed to linear), with low light values changing slowly and bright light increasing values very quickly. They have a selectable I2C address 0x4a or 0x4b. However, note that the address on the modules I received was NOT set by the manufacturer. So you'll have to solder the jumpers to the board one way or another, otherwise the address is non-deterministic and may change between uses. (I learned this the hard way). The sensors work well when connected to a Raspberry Pi and using the Python driver from the Control Everything community on GitHub.
