The photos on the left show the product purchased compared to the one on the right. I have had my lip pierced for over 20 years and wear a variety of jewelry. The day after applying this product I noticed a cut on the inside of my lip. I took a close look at them and immediately noticed sharp, uneven edges on the product. I was able to heat the ends and melt the edges to make them smoother and that fixed the cutting issue. What to watch out for: Sharp edges on the back can injure your inner lip. can only be cut to size and still have a cleated fit. Good quality gem but larger than others.
