Connected to an RGB controller with 12 universal sockets and a 4-pin connector on each output. Hooked up 8ft RGB LED strips and it worked great. For fun, I connected another strip to the second output, but swapped the red and green wires on the controller connector so one strip is red and the other is green. The audio input option allows a smartphone or MP3 player to use a 1/8" Y-cable to split the audio between the headphones and the controller. The cigarette lighter plug enables the device to be operated in your vehicle. I was very happy with this device. I wish there was an alternative Dream Feed controller 2811. Mike
