This worked so well to transform my plain old dining chair that I'm considering ordering more just because it was fun swapping out. Pay attention to the height of the backrest of the chair. Mine is so high that there was no extra fabric to pull it up and make it look tufted. The material is stretchy so it still serves its purpose and looks good. However, if the back of my chair was an inch higher, it wouldn't lie flat on the seat.
