I'm the guy who cleans my car of road dirt and debris after every ride. After this process I use this lid to protect it from everything while it fits and holds well. I've had it for over 6 months now and it has weathered dust storms and monsoons, high winds and pesky birds. It kept my MX-5 completely dry in the rain as it mostly fits snugly against the side mirrors. I was initially skeptical because of the price, but it's worth it if you want your cars to shine all year round. It would also be nice to note that the clip that holds it in place snaps under the car and stays in place nicely. As for dusting the lid and such, I kept it in the car and hosed it off, it's so waterproof.
