You need the remote!
They look nice in our bar. Make sure to use the remote after installing the lights or you will think not all of them are working. Luckily someone else wrote a review with this same information. Also make sure to buy the battery ahead of time for the remote because for some reason, they do not provide that to customer's which I think is a little silly.
