Suitable brightness and does not disturb sleep. I bought this for my wife who wanted a night light for going to the toilet at night. We first tried another motion sensor product that was too sensitive and bright for their bedroom. This device stays on all night but has the right brightness so she can see but doesn't wake her. She is very happy with it. I installed it in the bottom half of the Duotone so it's pointing down so the light hits the ground. A wall wart is installed in the top half of the outlet, and while it's a little cramped, they can share a common outlet.
