Panasonic ALWAYS exceeds expectations

I just charged the first set of four AA eneloop batteries. They came half charged so it took very little time to charge. As soon as the green LED went out, I took it out and checked its voltage with a professional multimeter. Here are the results: 1st battery: 1.44v 2nd battery: 1.43v 3rd battery: 1.45v 4th battery: 1.49v Overall incredible for batteries! Now I dump them into my bike's LED headlight to see how long they last. I will post the results once the test is complete. (An LED bulb needs at least about 1.15V, so I expect them to last quite a while). Important note: This charger is better than most other Panasonic chargers. The reason for this is that it is actually constantly checking the battery while it is charging, and once it finds that it has reached its maximum capacity, it will stop charging and NOT charge continuously. Continuous charging will destroy the battery and some chargers will not stop but continue charging when the voltage drops, which is not good for battery life. This one doesn't. It can also charge batteries that differ in quality, state of charge, age or even size - you can charge any combination of AAA and AA batteries at the same time. Basically, this charger works so well because it packs FOUR chargers into one, so each battery charges separately from the others. One last thing, the colored LEDs that show the charge level are very cool. First the red LED will flash from left to right which means the charger is checking the batteries to make sure they are ok, Panasonic and there are no other batteries in the charger e.g. B. Alkaline batteries. Once the verification is complete (it takes about 3 seconds), the loading process will begin. The LED will first glow red to indicate the battery is low, then amber to indicate that the battery has approximately 20-80% charge, and finally green to indicate that the battery has more than 80% charge. Once 100% is reached, the LED will turn off, the charger will turn off and you can remove the batteries. I've been buying Panasonic products since the 1980's and they never cease to amaze me. Even my little Panasonic pencil sharpener - I had to buy it off e-bay because they don't make it anymore but there's nothing like it - I tried a few other brands and had to return them, they were so bad. All my TVs were Panasonic and all worked better than the others. The same goes for my first semi-pro camcorder. and now even small batteries like this are amazing. Thank you Panasonic!
