Note: I purchased a wooden bristle brush but now my order appears to be for a metal bristle brush so I hope my review appears on the correct product. This is exactly what I was looking for. I have found that the protrusions on the ends of the plastic bristles get stuck in my hair so the shape of the wooden bristles is perfect. My old brush (not that brand) would pop out a rubber pad full of bristles every time I got into a snarl, so I replaced it with this one, which seems to work better so far. The handle is narrower than my old brush so it feels a bit odd but I'm sure I'll get used to it. It also came with a cute drawstring pouch, a cleaning tool, spare bristles and two small hair ties which was a nice surprise!
