One of the guys ripped the cork off my steel ruler and a new one was expensive. I bought a roll of this cork tape to replace the back of my ruler and have found many other uses for it! The tape is strong and has excellent adhesive. Replacing the cork on my old cord was a breeze and saved us the expense of buying a new one. We've also started using it to add non-slip padding to tripods (it withstands heat very well) and to replace the backs of tripods that have lost their looks. cork over the years. Be careful when bending the band as it breaks easily.
