I've tried so many quick detailers and spray waxes. In recent years: Meguir's Gold, Mother's, Car Guys Hybrid, West Coast Custom Detailer Spray and Turtle Wax Ice are the ones I remember. My favorite is the Sonax, although it's hard to find. Yes, people will argue the pros and cons of these different products all day long. I have no data to confirm which is better; I can only come from my experience with them. The most important factors for me are: how easy it is to apply the product and then rub it in (I don't like rubbing in constantly to remove residual streaks or stains); how deep the shine is; how smooth/smooth it feels; and how long the car stays shiny and watery. Taking all of these factors into account, I think Sonax is the best. Although described as a quick detailing product, in my experience it has sealing properties and the water repellency lasts longer than other products. My car also seems to keep its waxed look and feel longer. Again, I can't quantify these results (although I'm sure some people have tried testing these products). Another thing I like is that the product thickens a bit when sprayed; This allows for a little more control (less overspray) when applying. Some may not like this as you can use the bottle quicker than with a thinner solution. I think it's the best overall. It's more expensive but I just love the results I get from this product. UPDATE: I still use it and still find it the best spray part overall. However, I have discovered Sonax Netshield, a synthetic "fibrous" sealant that comes in aerosol form. I'll eventually take the time to review it separately but needless to say it's a very easy to apply sealer that doesn't give a super shiny finish or smoothness but does blend with clean color and lasts around 6 months of protection provides and durability. hydrophobic properties. If I use Netshield and then wait a few hours or until the next day and apply Sonax Brilliant Shine Detailer I get fantastic results: very deep shine, very smooth finish and incredible pearls. I found my favorite combination!
