Very detailed review, readable in minutes

I'm starting to sweat like an ANIMAL. I literally sweat more than my boyfriend. For example MUCH more. I've tried about 15-20 natural deodorants since switching from dangerous chemical laden antiperspirants/deodorants about 2 years ago. Trust me when I say it's been a very frustrating, very smelly transition. I feel like I've tried everything. Here's a short list of what didn't work and why: Kiss My Face sports spray (smells too strong, makes me sick, short lived), Equate Rose brand without aluminum (smells great, short lived), Tom's of Maine (smells great, short lived) , Lush's T'eo combined with The Greench or Silky Sheets (loved it but itchy/shaving breakouts, also didn't like using multiple products), some random charcoal I found in TJ Maxx (smells bad, short lived) , regular male and female deodorants (no antiperspirant, all smelled nice, not the newest), all natural, made by local essential oil supplier, Lume (which I really like but gives me an itch/rash when I use it after shaving ) and many other deodorants from various online shops and local retailers. I've basically given up and resigned myself to a life of chemicals or an awful smell. Until I found my home. I've heard about it but assuming it's just a lime, all the others smell nice at first but don't last more than a few hours at best, or worse, too strong for my sensitive skin. I tried Native almost as a last resort and I'm so, so, sooo happy I did. I bought my first cane in March or April and didn't order a new one until the second week of June, when the first one was already gone. So far it smells amazing (Coconut Lavender is my favorite of the two I've tried) and so far I've only had to apply it once a day. I work in a fast paced retail environment where it's normal to sweat during most of my 10 hour shifts and my armpits still smell mostly like deodorant at the end of the day. I will say that we are entering the full height of summer heat/humidity right now and this may require a twice application on very hot muggy days. It doesn't make you particularly dry as it's not an antiperspirant, but it does seem to make me feel a little drier than similar products I've tried. As far as I can tell, this is THE ABSOLUTELY BEST PRODUCT! I can't recommend it enough, and while I can't guarantee it will work for everyone, it's definitely worth $13 to try and see for yourself. Right now I'm very glad I don't have a stinky armpit after years of searching in vain for a product that works the same as Native. I will leave the same review for Coconut Lavender!

Pros
  • Aluminum-free deodorant is not a chemical experiment and is made without aluminium, parabens, phthalates and talc. Natural deodorant contains ingredients of natural origin.
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
