Review on SHIELDON Blocking Magnetic Shockproof Compatible by Darryl Blumenthal

Looks great and is holding up well after a month of use. It originally had a nice new leather smell but it has worn off so I have to hold it close to my face for the same effect. It has a magnetic clasp and presumably a security feature. The latch works, the lid holds. When I fold it back it's actually a little hard to open and you have to put your finger under the edge. There are reports from other buyers saying otherwise - it's not staying closed. I wonder if it was impatient (hard original skin) or clogged pockets? I carry 2 credit cards, some bills and a credit card sized aluminum bottle opener and my suitcase closes and stays closed. Regarding RFID security, I've had concerns about using the touch payment app with this case in other reviews, but once installed I can continue to use my Android app as before. Color has not faded from contact with moisture or surfaces. The folds show no signs of tearing or discoloration. It's well made, I appreciate how much better it holds up than my previous plastic case. I don't use the stand function often, but it works quite well. It's a bit difficult to get it into a standing position, but just give it a few days, the skin should adjust. I like wallets. My last phone had one and I found that it protects the screen when I bump into things or occasionally drop the phone. I also don't experience these random calls when I'm in my pocket. So it's a compromise, it's a lot thicker but still fits in my pocket. Be careful when ordering. There are 3 versions of my Android. I mistakenly measured the length along one side and it matched the description, but I wasn't aware the listing uses a diagonal measurement. The first case received was then too small.
