It appears to be a high-quality item and is well-made. Superior metals and plastics; doesn't have that typical "new plastic" odor. Perhaps the designers of this teapot were thinking about a particular pan when they drew up the teapot's outline. This is a joke, of course. The teapot is a work of art. I've used the cover's flat top several times when my hands were full to set down a dish. Unlike in some other Xiaomi models, I don't think the components are Stix. The fact that the kettle might not turn off is one of the drawbacks. Whoa, that's scary! If you haven't already tried it, start drinking more water. Finally, I found a teapot with a real eye inside of it. This requires immediate attention!
