I bought them for my metal wall panel but they are too uncomfortable to use so I had to order several alternatives. I don't claim to know how they work with other rubbers, but for my purposes they are of little use. Of the L-shaped hooks, some fit easily without requiring force or bending to insert. However, most have to make an effort to get in. It's not just the "push" described in the product description. You have to find the right angle and bend the bottom pin as much as possible, which still ends up scraping off some of the plastic. I suspect this won't happen on a non-metal board. J-shaped pins are worse. None of them just fit as if the spacing between the pins is too big to fit on the board. Just to install a few hooks I had to try a few of these in hopes that one of them would be a little easier. Pulling it out also hurts, and one of the L-shaped hooks broke in the process, so I had to force myself. at the back, which would have been much more difficult if I had already attached the board to the wall. These hooks might work for you, but if you're planning on using them with a wall control board I'd look elsewhere.
