I purchased this product after witnessing a foot detox at the clinic where I am doing my PhD. They use a different detox device but I decided to purchase this device after doing extensive research and reading comments written by others. I also decided to purchase two additional cell components that only caused an alarm on our machine, so we ended up using the cells that came with that unit. Ideally, if you live in the same area as me, in southeastern Phoenix, Arizona, your tap water can be VERY salty for the machine to function properly. It says the amp should be under 2.5 and originally our A was 3.9 and 4. We live next to a "salty river" and can't grow avocados naturally here due to the natural salinity of the soil so took it I assume there was a problem. Our house has a reverse osmosis system for the whole house so I mixed tap water (which is just salt free) with 70:30 reverse osmosis water and was able to get an A value of 1.5-1.9 so looks like it worked fine. the rest of the time without adding salt (or in our case extra tap water). Overall, I chose this product because my husband and I were able to detox at the same time. We used a belt and a bracelet. We put lotion on the bond between the metal and our skin and it worked fine but make sure you take it apart to clean it or else I see this will be a problem later on. Our water was also quite warm so he took it off in the middle of the session. I used my belt all the time and thought it was great. It didn't really make me sweat. I love this product. I took photos with my phone so I will update this review with photos as soon as I can upload them. My husband's water showed more heart/blood detoxification and mine showed more gallbladder detoxification according to the watercolor readings in the book that was sent. Pretty cool. Finally, I would advise the manufacturer to specify what happens when a high pitched loud noise comes from the machine. There is no indication of what happens when this noise is made. Nothing is mentioned in the brochure and if you search the web for the company I can't find a website. I ended up troubleshooting with Revain tech support who also tried to contact the company to no avail. They emailed instructions on how to return the item if it was defective, but when I found that A had written down the salt level, we replaced the items we had purchased separately with the items that came with the unit . I'm assuming the cells we bought separately already had salt added since you don't add salt to those cells either. I believe that's why our A read so high, and while it still worked, the shrill noise was too loud to handle. We changed the water once and added the cells that came with the unit and then split the water 70/30 which seemed to work. Natural salt that comes out of the tap can be too salty, and bottled or other water is needed to dilute the tap water. Second, please include YOUR CONTACT INFORMATION as well.
