It would be great if you could disable the alarm

In a way that's great. This is a great solution to display pretty much anything you want. Most of what you want about obd2 data can be viewed in many different configurations. Intake Air Temperature, Oil Pressure, Coolant Temperature, Intake Manifold Pressure, Fuel Rail Pressure, many useful things you can view on the display. I got this with the intention of beeping when the coolant temp goes above a certain threshold. It can do it, the problem is you can't turn off any of the alarms. Sound signals of revolutions, vehicle speed, coolant temperature are always on. You can turn them up high enough that they don't beep constantly (up to 6000 RPM, which isn't enough for me to avoid them entirely), but you can't turn them off. You can set the speed signal to 75 mph, so get used to the horn. It's cheap so I can open it up and disconnect the speakers so I can use it without losing my mind**
