Bought this thermometer based on positive reviews. Pros: A VERY large thermometer that's easy to read in the fridge. Seems accurate - I compared it to two other thermometers in the freezer. Soft end caps protect the tube in the event of an impact. Cons: VERY large thermometer - takes up extra space. Magnets are virtually useless in a modern refrigerator with few structural steel parts. The clip is too thin to fit on the shelf wire of most modern refrigerators. Suction cups will not work in the freezer unless the thermometer is set to room temperature and then allowed to freeze. In the freezer, the lens fogs up quite a bit compared to other thermometers, making it difficult to read the temperature. First they put it in the fridge, then they completely replaced it.
